How much do you charge for a tattoo?

Our artist all have their own pricing. Best thing to do is contact the artist you want to work with directly, and provide them with some basic information. This way they can give you a proper quote for your tattoo idea.

How can I be prepared for my appointment?

Please do not consume alcohol 24 hrs before your appointment. Stay hydrated, and drink lots of water leading up to your appointment. Please avoid any activities like rock climbing or heavy gardening where your skin could get scrapped or irritated. Also avoid heavy sunlight and the chance of getting sunburnt.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

Please wear appropriate clothing that will allow your artist to easily access the area you wish to get tattooed. We would suggest not wear your favorite outfit, or white! Tattooing can be a little messy and the last thing you want is to stain your beloved one-of-a-kind vintage piece, or your favorite white tee.

Will you be able to send me a sketch of my tattoo design before my appointment?

We do most of our consulting via email. Please bear with us, as you may not get your final design until the day of your appointment. Although we all try to do our best to send you some sketches at least 24 hours ahead of time.

A full list of aftercare protocol is provided to you before you leave your appointment. The basics are to keep it clean and moisturized, but please read our AFTERCARE page for more detailed instructions on how to take care of your tattoo correctly!

The pain level of tattoos is subjective to the placement of the tattoo and the individual getting tattooed. However, hand-poke tattoos are a much less abrasive process than getting a machine tattoo. You will not feel the same dragging, burning, or vibrating sensation that can sometimes be a part of getting a machine tattoo. You will feel the poke of a needle, which in itself can become painful over time. So, it really just depends on the client’s pain tolerance, where you get the tattoo, and how gently the artist works.

Because hand-poke tattoos are less abrasive, they can heal as quickly as 3 days depending on the type of tattoo, but general rule of thumb is at least 10 days. So take care of it!
